Time frame

ECHINO-SAFE-MED activities will be spread over a period of three years in the Mediterranean regions. The choice of study areas acknowledges the necessity of willingness at all levels of society to implement the findings and increased understanding that accrue from scientific research in order to mitigate effectively the negative effects of increasing spread of cystic echinococcosis (CE) in these areas, especially in the small ruminant livestock farming system, increasing productivity, income and satisfaction by the farmers.
