Role in the project

The LRFSN SEEpiAS Unit will be involved in all work packages, according to their competences in term of molecular diagnosis, microsatellite investigation and field experience in Maghreb.

In WP1-2-3, it will control, using a microsatellite approach, the pressure of infection in sheep whereas in dogs, using a qPCR, it will detect prepatent period in feces to adapt the deworming treatment. According to its field experience in Maghreb it will help to organize field experiment (WP2-3), for vaccination and dogs’ treatment in the pilot areas. ANSES will lead WP2 and participate in all other WP being involved in several tasks.
