Expertise

The National School of Veterinary Medicine of Sidi Thabet (ENMV) has 20 Years’ experience with Echinococcosis epidemiology, diagnosis and control. ENMV was involved in several EU projects regarding Echinococcosis such as ECHINOSTOP, ECHINONET and PARAVAC.

Role in the project

ENMV will be an important partner in achieving of the main scientific objectives of work packages: WP2 - Surveillance activities for CE in the Mediterranean area and WP3- Vaccination of lambs and treatment of dogs to control CE in the pilot areas. ENMV will lead WP3 and participate in other WPs involved and leading several tasks. ENMV will support also project management (WP5) and dissemination activities (WP4).
